Netgear Orbi Installation Overview for Novice Users
Netgear Orb setup is a mesh Wi-Fi system that optimizes the internet in your home, removing Wi-Fi dead zones. As such, the Orbi setup is a controller to get your system up and running. Orbi setup works in the same way as other mesh Wi-Fi systems and requires no special expertise.
For the initial configuration of the Orbi system, make sure you connect the Orbi router to the modem with the Ethernet cable that is provided, and turn it on. After that, turn on and place the Orbi satellite in the middle of the room so that it can provide the most coverage. Connect your computer or smartphone to the Orbi Wi-Fi system.
For a more intuitive experience, complete your setup with the Orbi app or simply complete it by navigating to orbilogin.com on your web browser. From there, design your network SSID and key following the instructions.
No special knowledge is required, and you’ll have the system up and running in a matter of minutes with speedy Wi-Fi throughout your home!
