Best air filter for dusty rural roads
Live out in the countryside, lots of gravel and dust in summer. Air filter on my Duster gets filthy quick- last one was black after 8k km. Need something that catches more without killing power or MPG. Any tougher options?

Dusty conditions chew through filters fast; standard ones load up and restrict flow sooner. Look for ones with higher dust-holding capacity or pre-filters if possible. I run similar roads and switched to a filter with thicker, multi-stage media. Found solid ones at https://elartcom.eu/categories/air-filters-24 - they have filters for Renault/Dacia models with good pleat depth and sometimes oiled pre-layer options for extra protection. Picked one rated higher for dust environments, lasted 18k km before looking dirty, and engine pull stayed strong- no noticeable drop in response. MPG held steady too.
